Born in Louisville and raised in Corbin, Kentucky, Dr. Elliott received his Bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University majoring in Biology and Psychology. He then attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2000.
Starting as a Patient Care Assistant in his teenage years, Dr. Elliott made his home in Northern Kentucky in 2005 after acquiring a well-established dental practice in Florence, Kentucky — now Smith and Elliott.
Continuing education in general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, facial esthetics, and sleep apnea — combined with his skill and passion — allows Dr. Elliott to provide his patients with the highest standard of dental health care.
He has been recognized in "Top Dentists" as featured in Cincinnati Magazine and as an "America's Most Honored Professionals" since 2015 for his excellence in both family and cosmetic dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Elliott and his wife Kelly enjoy family activities with their two children. He volunteers with Remote Area Medical — providing dental care to underserved areas of Appalachia. He has served as a volunteer Firefighter for the City of Union, Kentucky — and once even extracted a tooth at the Louisville Zoo!
